Every effort is being made to protect against Corona. At the same time, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has taken a sample of 1,700 common people in four districts including Indore in Madhya Pradesh, which did not have the common symptoms of this epidemic, according to a nationwide survey involving Kovid-19. Scientists hope that the results of this survey will give accurate information about the spread of this epidemic in the population of the four districts. At the same time, the answer to this important question will also be found, whether after the attack of the virus on the community, 'Herd immunity' or collective immunity has developed in the people.

Actually, this survey being carried out in different parts of the country by ICMR has been named 'Sero-Survey'. In this survey, the serum of people's blood is being examined to monitor the spread of SARS-COV-2 (the virus with which Kovid-19 is spread). Under this survey in Madhya Pradesh, the National Tribal Health Research Institute (NIRTH) of Jabalpur, ICMR has collected blood samples of common people in four districts including Indore. On the other hand, Indore is among the most affected districts of the corona virus in the country where 3,344 patients of this epidemic have been found so far out of which 126 people have lost their lives.

Let us tell you that the Director of NIRTH, Aparup Das has said that under the nationwide sero-survey of ICMR, blood samples of 500 such people in the Kovid-19 Containment Zone in Indore have been taken accidentally, like fever and colds. The epidemic was not common and looked healthy. He further explained that after examining the serum of the blood under this survey, it would be especially important to know how the immune system has reacted if the person concerned has been suffering from SARS-COV-2 attack and Have antibodies developed against this virus in their blood or not? Obviously, this will also give information about herd immunity. He said that under the nationwide 'sero-survey' of ICMR, samples of 500 people of Indore in the state as well as blood samples of 400-400 people have been taken in Dewas, Ujjain and Gwalior districts. All these samples have been sent to ICMR's Chennai-based institute for examination.
