Bhubaneshwar: After the arrival of 1,203 new cases of corona in Odisha, the total number of infected in the state has crossed 30,000. The death toll after ten more people has increased to 169. A health department official told that these new cases came out in 28 of the 30 districts of the state. The officer has told that the maximum number of 250 new cases were found in Ganjam district. 220 new cases have been reported in Khurda, 97 in Cuttack, 74 in Sundergarh, 72 in Gajapati, and 65 in Malkangiri.
The Health Department has said in a statement, "It is very sad that ten patients of Corona died during treatment." It has further told that these include 4 people from Ganjam, 2 from Khurda and 1-1 from Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Raigarh, and Nayagarh. A total of 30,378 cases of corona were reported in the state, out of which 18,939 people have become healthy. The treatment of 11,234 people is still going on. The officer said that 5,00,238 samples of Corona have been investigated so far in Odisha.
Cases of coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in the country. For the first time in India, 52,123 new cases of Corona have been reported on Thursday. According to statistics, this is the 8th consecutive day when more than 45,000 cases of Corona have been reported in a single day. The good thing is that the number of people recovering from infection has also crossed one million.
