New Delhi: India has reported 12,830 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours amid the slowing down of corona. The Union Health Ministry said that the active corona patients in the country have now come down to 1,59,272, the lowest in the last 247 days. Meanwhile, 446 people died due to epidemic in the country in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 14,667 people have overcome the epidemic and recovered. After which the number of people recovering from corona so far has gone up to 3,36,55,842 in the country. India's corona vaccination coverage is more than 106.14 crore. According to data from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 11,35,142 samples were tested for corona infection in India yesterday. A total of 60,83,19,915 samples have been tested till yesterday.

On the other hand, dr sanjay rai, professor of AIIMS community medicine department, says that the country is moving towards hard immunity. Corona cases are no longer showing much fluctuation due to the high spread of infection. There may also be a further decline in corona cases in the near future. Dr Jugal Kishore also sees the deficiency in corona cases by linking it to the antibody of the corona already present in the body of individuals.
