Between the corona infection and the lockdown, the Manipur government has set up two special types of coronavirus quarantine centers for transgender communities in the state. For the people of these communities coming from Green and Orange, this center has been opened in the Government Blind School of Takialpat in Imphal West. For those coming from the Red Zone, this center is located in Maria Montessori Higher Secondary School of Koirengi in Imphal East. According to news agency ANI, there is a total accommodation of 25 people in the Quarantine Center of Imphal East and 20 in the Imphal West Quarantine Center.
