Mumbai: Corona infection is spreading rapidly in Maharashtra. In view of the increasing number of cases day by day, the Government is working hard to curb it. As a result of this hard work, the corona virus has slowed down slightly in Maharashtra. Several days later, the number of corona infected people has come down to less than 60,000. Last Sunday, 56,647 new cases were reported. More than 63,000 cases were reported last Saturday. In this sense, it is a relief.
A total of 47 lakh 22 thousand 401 new cases have been reported in Maharashtra so far. Let me tell you that out of these, 39 lakh 81 thousand 685 people have defeated Corona. Last Sunday also, 51,356 people were freed from corona. It is very good to have more than 50,000 recoverers, but the reduction in the number of recoverers as compared to the new positive case swells the concerns about the situation. Let me tell you all that the number of new corona infected people in the State has stabilized between 55,000 and 70,000.
At the moment, corona infection is increasing very fast, but yes, it has definitely stabilized. It can be said that this is because of the state government's decision to take a tough shutdown. Meanwhile, the number of deaths is not showing much improvement. The death toll from corona in a day came to 669. Last Saturday, the figure was more than 800. However, efforts are on to improve.
