BSF IG Mahipal Yadav said that 24 villages adjacent to the BSF border were such, where there was a lot of poverty, they have distributed ration to the people living there. BSF is giving training to people of marginal villages to fight the coronavirus. So far, 11 thousand 500 masks have been distributed to farmers and villagers of marginal villages. Apart from this, 2500 liter sanitizers have been distributed to farmers and sarpanches of 79 villages of Ferozepur, 75000 villagers will take advantage of this.
For your information, let us tell you that BSF has sanitized 21 villages and has made villagers aware of Coronavirus by setting up camps with doctors in 48 villages. Many farmers told IG Yadav about the difficulties related to land beyond their fencing. Farmers say that the work of harvesting wheat is going on these days. BSF is entering all farmers from a gate on fencing, by doing so, the farmers' time is destroyed a lot. Wheat harvesting takes very little time.
Apart from this, the farmers have demanded from the IG that in the wheat season, at least two gates should be opened and farmers should be allowed to go across the land from fencing. There are many villages whose people have four hundred acres of land across the fence, if they enter through a gate, they take time to reach their land.
