Among them, the highest number of FIRs have been registered in Ghaziabad, 70 and 56 in Lucknow.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi and DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi held a high-level meeting at DGP Headquarters on Monday to review the status of the lockdown cities and formulate a strategy for action there. Apart from estimating the number of exits in the cities that were locked down through audio conferencing, it was also asked what reasons people left.
There is currently a lockdown in Lucknow, Aligarh, Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida), Kanpur, Varanasi, Meerut, Azamgarh, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Agra, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Moradabad and Jaunpur to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Instructions have been given to ensure security in these districts under the zone and sector scheme. In the meeting, a strategy was also put in place to further control the movement of people. DM-SAP has been asked to make joint visits and ensure compliance with the rules. Long queues of trucks were also installed on the highway in many districts. The DGP has said that trucks supplying essential goods should not be stopped. Truck drivers should be given a health test and let them go. Policemen have also been instructed to take complete precautions to protect themselves from infection.
