New Delhi: Covid-19's havoc has been increasing even more rapidly in the country since last year. The country has once again seen a steady increase in daily cases of covid infection. Many states including Maharashtra, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu have a lockdown-like condition. In the last 24 hours, 18,711 new cases of covid infection have been recorded and 100 people have lost their lives due to this infection. The Union Health Ministry reported on Sunday.
According to the latest data released by the Health Ministry on Sunday, 18,711 new cases of infection from covid-19 have been registered in the last 24 hours. With this, the total infection cases in the country increased to 1,12,10,799. At the same time, 100 patients have died due to covid in the last 24 hours, due to which the total number of people who lost their lives to corona in the country has reached 1,57,756.
The number of patients recovering daily decreased: According to the latest data from the Health Department, 14,392 covid-19 patients have become healthy in the last 24 hours. With this, 1,08,68,520 patients have been successful in beating the covid virus in the country so far. The number of patients recovering is decreasing compared to the new covid-19 cases recorded on a daily basis. Due to which a continuous increase has been reported in the active cases of Corona. At present, there are 1,84,523 active cases of covid-19 in the country.
So many people thought covid vaccine: The second phase of the world's largest covid vaccination campaign has been seen in the country. At the same time, 2,09,22,344 people have been vaccinated with the coronavirus so far in the country.
