Yogi Adityanath government of UP can give one thousand rupees in their bank account to the daily wage laborers most affected due to Coronavirus. The UP government is seriously considering giving this amount to one crore daily wage labourers. The committee of ministers constituted under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Suresh Khanna also met on Thursday and discussed this issue in detail. The committee has sent the related proposal to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister can make an announcement in this regard on Friday.

For your information, let us tell you that among the figures given by the committee constituted under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, there are more than 21 lakh registered workers of the labor department. Along with this, 16 lakh daily sweepers of the city development department and about 11 lakh laborers of 58 thousand gram sabhas were considered to be involved. It was also considered to include rickshaw drivers, construction workers, street vendors, palladars, railway porter, laborers working in malls etc.

The committee has sent the proposal to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in this matter. In the wake of Coronavirus, a committee of ministers formed on the instructions of the Chief Minister had a meeting with the officers on Wednesday in two phases. The committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Finance Minister has Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi and Labor Minister Swami Prasad Maurya.
