Punjab: Health workers were quarantined, the fourth death from Corona so far in the state

In the Indian state of Punjab, there has been a fourth death due to coronavirus infection. A 65-year-old elderly patient found in Nayagaon died on Tuesday morning. His report came positive on Monday. UT Advisor Manoj Parida has informed by tweeting that the corona infected person of Nayagaon died at PGI at 11:35 am today.

For your information, let us tell you that the elderly PGI was admitted in Chandigarh. Therefore, as soon as corona was confirmed in it, it could go from PGI to GMSH administration in Chandigarh Sector-16, because the elderly did not show the symptoms of corona earlier and his treatment was going on normally.

The PGI administration has quarantined the staff who came in contact with the patient in a hurry after corona was confirmed. These include 5 doctors, 22 nursing staff, 5 sanitation attendants and 4 hospital attendants. At the same time, two emergency medical officers, a radiographer and a staff nurse, including five doctors of the medicine department of GMSH, have also been quarantined.
