Shimla:  On Tuesday, Himachal Pradesh has reported 6 COVID-19 positive cases. 2 cases have been reported in Chamba, 2 in Sirmaur and 2 in Kullu. COVID-19 infection in Sirmaur is a case of Kalaamb while Purbia locality of Second Nahan district. COVID-19 report of 32-year-old man and 30-year-old woman in Kullu has come positive. The corona infected woman is a resident of Manikarna Panchayat and the person Sainj.

Along with this, all information of their primary contacts is being collected. The administration has made Ward 6 and Ward 7 of Manikarn as a containment zone as a precautionary gram panchayat. While Chose and Shagana villages have been designated as buffer zones. The COVID-19 report of two people in Chamba has come positive. A 34-year-old man in Lahal and a 13-year-old teenager in Baur Chhatradari have been found to be COVID-19 positive.

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus patients is increasing continuously in the world. According to Johns Hopkins University, the total number of global corona virus cases is above 18.1 million (one crore 81 million), while more than 691,000 people have died worldwide. On Tuesday morning, the total number of cases had increased to 18,193,291 by Tuesday and so far 691,642 people have died. The University's Center for System Science and Engineering (CSSE) has revealed in its latest update that as of Tuesday morning, the total number of cases has increased to 18,193,291 and the death toll due to the virus has risen to 691,642.
