Two patients each died in Mumbai and Vasai-Virar and one each in Thane, Raigad and Aurangabad on the last day due to the pandemic.

The number of infections had crossed two crores on May 4 last year and three crores on June 23, 2021, and on January 25 this year, the cases crossed four crores.
