This is the ninth death in Punjab from Corona. A total of 16 new cases were registered on Wednesday. Of these, 10 are from Mohali, two from Jalandhar, two from Ludhiana and one each from Faridkot and Muktsar. Except for one case in Ludhiana, all were already in contact with people found positive. Two new cases have come to light in Ludhiana, one of which is a 15-year-old juvenile. He is the nephew of the person who joined the Tablighi Jamaat.
