Jaipur: After the 58 new cases of coronavirus in Rajasthan on Sunday morning, the number of people infected with this deadly virus has increased to 2,141 in the state. State's Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rohit Kumar Singh gave this information.
He said that out of 58 new cases of infection, 20 patients have been found in Nagaur, 15 in Jodhpur, 11 in Ajmer, seven in Jaipur, three in Kota, one each in Jhalawar-Hanumangarh. The number of people who died of coronavirus in the state has increased to 35. Officials say that in most of the cases the patients were also suffering from some other serious disease. In addition to two Italian citizens, Rajasthan has included 61 people who have been brought from Iran to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer in the army health centers in the total cases of coronavirus infection. Lockdown has been implemented across the state since March 22 and curfew has been imposed in many police station areas.

According to information received from sources, the number of patients infected with the coronavirus is increasing continuously throughout the country. According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in the last 24 hours, there have been 1990 new cases and 49 people have died. After this, the total number of corona positive cases across the country has increased to 26,496, out of which 19,868 are active, 5,804 people have become healthy or have been discharged from hospital and 824 people have died.
