Dehradun: The whole country is suffering due to Corona epidemic. In the same way, many efforts are being made to get rid of it. For the first time in Uttarakhand, the rate of COVID-19 infection has reached five percent. The COVID-19 infection rate has increased from 4.08 percent to 5.00 percent within a month.

Nainital has the highest infection rate of 8.02 percent. The government has extended a sampling investigation to prevent COVID-19 infection in the state. Now an average of six thousand samples are being reported every day. So far 2.17 lakh samples have been tested in the state, and the figure of infected cases is going to cross 11 thousand. As the sample test increases, the infection rate is also increasing.

For the first time, the state's infection rate has reached 5.0 percent. The rate of infection is higher in the plains city of Nainital, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun than in the hill cities. Anoop Nautiyal, the founder of the Social Development for Community Foundation, studying COVID-19 data, says that infection rates in the cities of the plain are increasing at a rapid pace. The infection rate in the mountains is very low. The lowest infection rate is 1.51 percent in Rudraprayag city. The cases of corona in the state are constantly increasing, and it is necessary to follow the guidelines.
