Dehradun: COVID-19 investigation report of the private secretary of Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Om Prakash has come positive. The Chief Secretary's office has been sealed after the report came positive. The office will now open on Monday. From all the staff including the Chief Secretary are in isolation. Private Secretary Darshan Lal Semwal has confirmed the matter. 

Reports of 336 people in Dehradun came positive on Wednesday. The figure of people infected with COVID-19 is now 13203 in the district. A total of 9982 persons have been cured after treatment. In view of the corona infection, 140 ICU beds are vacant in various hospitals. The people who have been in home quarantine by the district administration are being continuously monitored. Corona cases are continuously increasing in the state.

On the other hand, the cases of COVID-19 in the country are increasing rapidly. In the last 24 hours, more than 86 thousand corona cases have been reported in the country. More than one thousand people have also died. However, the number of people recovering from corona in the country has exceeded 52 lakh which is a matter of relief. According to the latest data of the Union Health ministry, 86,821 cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. The death toll from corona in the country was 1181.
