The last 17 days were special for Uttarakhand in the war against the Corona epidemic. The rate of spread of infection has decreased with increasing sampling to check the suspected symptoms of corona in the state. So far 28 out of total 51 people in the state have been corrected. The first corona-infected case was found in Uttarakhand on 15 March in Dehradun. After this, infected cases have been found in Nainital, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Pauri and Almora districts. On April 8, the rate of infection in the state was 2.86%.

The rate of continuous infection has decreased in the last 17 days. The rate of infection in the state has come down to 1.12% till April 24. According to Secretary Health Nitesh Kumar Jha, 1698 samples were examined in a week from April 19 to 25. Six Corona infectedcases have been found in this. While 17 infected cases have been cured, each bed of Covid hospitals will have ICU and ventilator facilities.

The health department has arranged health facilities in hospitals for treatment of corona infected patients according to three categories. In these hospitals, the infected serious patient will be treated, while the dedicated Covid Health Center identified at the district level will have oxygen facility in each bed for the treatment of suspected patient.
