Dehradun: In Uttarakhand, more youth than elderly and children have been exposed to Kovid. 58 percent of young covids in the age group of 21 to 40 were found infected. 4.30 percent corona infection has been found in the age group of 0 to 10.

The effect of covid infection in the state was more among the youth. So far in the 141 days of covid period, more than 7 thousand infected people have been exposed in the state. In which more than half of the infected are in the age group of 21 to 40. The Central and State Government had issued directions to the children below 10 years and the elderly above 65 years not to leave the house to prevent infection. This is the reason why the elderly and children are less vulnerable to infections.

As of July 31, the total number of infected cases in the state had exceeded 7 thousand. According to this, 32 percent of the infected people in the age group of 21 to 30 have been found in the state. This means that around 2300 infected are in this age group. At the same time, the infected rate in the age group 51 to 60 is 6.44 percent. Most of the youth from the outer states have returned to the state during the Corona period. Due to this, the number of young people is more in the infected. Whereas the elderly and children are safe from infection due to not coming out of the houses. The government has warned the children and the elderly not to go outside the house unnecessary to prevent infection.
