Dehradun: Corona epidemic has affected every state of the country. If rules would not be followed in Uttarakhand, cases of COVID-19 infection that are continuously coming in Uttarakhand's Dehradun and Mussoorie will keep on shocking. Meanwhile, MLA Ganesh Joshi of Mussoorie, who is attending various ceremonies, has been home quarantined for three days. The Mussoorie MLA has recently attended various functions in Dehradun and Mussoorie. He told that due to this he has also come in contact with some COVID-19 infected people.

So as a security, he will live in a three-day self-isolation mode. He will be at home from Thursday to Saturday. After this, he can meet the public from next Sunday.  On the other hand, with the increase in the investigation of corona in the state, the infection rate has also surged. Within 15 days, one lakh samples were tested in the state. Currently, active cases have exceeded 4500. Due to which the pressure of treatment on hospitals is increasing.

The first case of corona infection was found in the state on 15 March. By the beginning of July 125, 15 lakh samples were tested. The government insisted on increasing sampling and increased the number of laboratories for COVID testing in the state. Due to which the sample investigation got speeded up. After this, in the 24 days till August 10, the number of sample investigations in the state reached two lakh. In the next 15 days, till August 25, one lakh samples were tested.
