Coronavirus has spread in many states in India. At the same time, a person infected with Coronavirus has died in Rajasthan, while the total number of infected has increased to 1395 with 44 new cases being reported on Sunday. State's Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rohit Kumar Singh said that a 62-year-old man from Jaipur's Rajpark died on Saturday at CK Birla Hospital. At the same time, the person was admitted to the hospital on 16 April due to fever and difficulty in breathing. He was confirmed infected on Saturday. The number of people who died of infection in the state increased to 22 on Sunday.

In his statement, he said that 44 new cases of infection have been reported on Sunday morning. In this, two have been found infected in Jhalawar, 27 in Jodhpur, one in Jaisalmer, two in Jaipur, one in Hanumangarh, two in Kota, one in Nagaur and eight in Bharatpur. Now the number of infected in the state has increased to 1395.

Apart from this, Singh said that 97 infected people have been discharged from the hospital while 205 people have been cured by treatment. In Rajasthan, there are 60 Italian people along with two Italian citizens who have been brought from Iran to the army health centers in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer in total cases of coronavirus infection. There is a lockdown in the state since March 22 and curfew is in many police station areas.
