The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has prepared for the second phase of lockdown as soon as the guidelines of the central government are found. Lockdown will be strictly followed in the state. The government has also made a framework for working for various departments and giving exemption to some sectors from April 20. Also, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to make a permanent model of online education in the state.

To prevent the infection of Corona, the central government has extended the lockdown till May 3. As soon as the guideline was released on Wednesday morning, Yogi held a meeting with senior officials and decided the strategy. Speaking to reporters at Lok Bhavan, Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to strictly follow the second phase of lockdown. On this basis, big construction works will be approved in Uttar Pradesh from April 20 on the basis of conditions. These construction works include the construction of highways, state highways, housing societies, medical colleges and roads etc.

Further in his statement, the Additional Chief Secretary said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given the special emphasis that the studies of students should not be affected in the lockdown. The officers have been instructed to create a permanent model of online education. Yogi has asked the Principal Secretaries of Higher Education, Secondary Education, Vocational Education, Vocational Education and Medical Education Department that online education should be promoted in the state. On this occasion, officials told Yogi that the Department of Higher Education has prepared 31,939 e-content, which is being used by 2.29 lakh students.
