Between the lockdown and the corona crisis, the Uttar Pradesh government has given great relief to the students and parents in view of the extraordinary circumstances caused by the coronavirus infection. Private schools of all boards in UP will not be able to increase fees this year. Due to the Corona disaster, the fee hike has been banned in the current academic session 2020-21.

In his statement, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that the schools which have collected the increased fees from the students will adjust it in the fees for the coming month. Failure to do so will result in strong action against the schools. A complaint can be lodged before the District Fee Regulatory Committee constituted under the UP Self-financed Independent Schools (Fee Determination) Act-2018.
