A total of 444 people took a charter flight from New Delhi to Melbourne on Sunday amid a nationwide lockdown imposed last month to control India's coronavirus.

It supported the repatriation of 444 people flying from Delhi to Melbourne on charter flight JT2846. The flight was organized by a group of Australians led by Simon Quinn. The Australian High Commission and India tweeted it with a 44-second video. Of the 444 people, 430 were Australian citizens, permanent residents and people from their own families, while 14 were New Zealand citizens.
This method is being adopted to overcome corona
In terms of security, India suspended international flights last month to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the country said on Saturday that the total COVID-19 positive cases in the country, including 6634 active cases, crossed 7,500. So far 652 people have been cured, while 242 people have died across the country and one person has escaped.
