After the lockdown, the whole of India is making new products to stop the corona. At the same, students and professors of IIT BHU have taken several initiatives to combat the coronavirus. One important initiative among them is the construction of social rim umbrellas. The institute claims that this umbrella is very helpful in following social distancing properly. Professor PK Mishra of Malaviya Entrepreneurship Promotion Center of IIT BHU says that this umbrella called 'Social Rim' is a demand of the times and is an outstanding example of how to maintain social distancing in society.

For your information, let us tell you that Nishant Krishna and Gaurav Kedia of Incubate Tech Machinery and More Private Limited of Malaviya Entrepreneurship Promotion Center have created social rim (umbrella). Professor P.K. Mishra said that the radius of the umbrella prepared by the incubate company is three feet, which will help in maintaining social distance. It has been given a disc shape so that a distance of at least three feet remains. It is worn on the shoulder above the regular dress. If two people face to face with this umbrella, then the distance between them will be six feet, which is enough distance to avoid the coronavirus.

Regarding this matter, PK Mishra of IIT BHU says that two things are most important for primary protection from Corona - first sanitization and second social distancing. In this sequence, IIT, Jitu Shukla, incubator of Malviya Entrepreneurship Promotion and Innovation Center at BHU, has developed a device that can be used to sanitize the whole body.
