Coronavirus is spreading in India faster than expected. The efforts of whose prevention are happening all over the country. The National Task Force constituted for the management of Covid-19 has formed five groups to understand the priorities of research and expedite studies on them. These five groups are Clinical Research Group, Research of Diagnostics and Bio Markers, Epidemiology and Surveillance, Operations Research and Vaccine / Drug Research and Development. The task force has also recommended setting up an 'India Covid-19 Clinical Research Collaborative Network'.

The network will work with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) to prevent the virus. Its goal will be to increase clinical understanding of Covid-19 in the country. With this, it will be possible to prepare a special clinical management protocol for this disease and research and research work will be speeded up for its treatment.
