Keeping in mind the outbreak of Coronavirus, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India i.e. TRAI has demanded the telecom companies to increase the validity of prepaid plans. Along with this, TRAI says that the validity of prepaid plans will not cause any problems to consumers during lockdown. Also, consumers can stay connected with each other in this difficult situation.

TRAI wrote a letter to telecom companies
According to media reports, TRAI has written a letter to the country's major telecom companies. At the same time, in this letter, companies have been told that the validity of prepaid plans of all users should be increased, so that they will not face any kind of trouble. Apart from this, TRAI has also sought information from all the companies about what steps are being taken during the lockdown to provide service to the consumers without interruption.

Telecom companies did not respond to TRAI's letter
As of now, the telecom companies have not yet responded to TRAI's letter. Also, companies have not announced to increase the validity of prepaid plans. It is expected that companies will soon announce the validity of prepaid plans.

Coronavirus lockdown
Let us know that on March 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the lockdown of the country for 21 days. If the telecom companies increase the validity of prepaid plans in this situation, then consumers will benefit greatly.
