New Delhi: The number of people who lost their lives due to corona infection in the country has crossed 4 lakh. 853 persons died in the last 24 hours. This led to 46,617 new cases of infection. With the new figures, the total number of patients has reached 34 lakh 58 thousand 251. At present, 5 lakh 9 thousand 637 patients are undergoing treatment.

The same Union Health Ministry has reported that the number of active cases in the country is 1.67 percent of the total cases. The good news is that due to this, the recovery rate has gone up to 97.01 percent. While the weekly positivity rate is at 2.57 percent. The daily positivity rate has remained within 5 percent for 25 consecutive days. The government said that the capacity to test corona has also been increased and 41.42 crores tests have been conducted so far.

The first patient of delta plus variant of the corona has been found in Kangra city of Himachal Pradesh. This was reported by the officer on Thursday. The inquiry report of a 19-year-old woman at Gopalpur in Palampur sub-division of Kangra came out positive on May 25. When the sample was tested, delta plus has come to light. The Karnataka government has imposed stringent rules for all those coming from Kerala. A negative RT-PCR certificate has to be issued for admission to the state. These rules will affect all types of travel by air, train, or bus.
