Indore: A showroom operator committed suicide by consuming poison in the Shipra police station area of Madhya Pradesh yesterday. The showroom operator was reportedly associated with a political family. According to reports, he had borrowed money from two traders at 10 percent interest, who were constantly pressurizing for recovery. That's why he committed suicide. In the case, police said that the deceased has been identified as Manoj Patel (35) resident of village Burhi Barlai.

Police said Manoj's aunt Sunita Patel is the village sarpanch and Manoj had opened a showroom of vehicles in the village. Manoj's uncle Rajendra Patel has alleged that 'liquor barons Deepak Jaiswal and Ishwar Vyas had given loans to Manoj at 10 percent interest. Both were constantly making threats for recovery. The duo had come to the showroom yesterday too and threatened Manoj. He also said that it was this that hurt him and he came home and fell asleep after consuming poison.

When his health deteriorated, the family rushed him to a private hospital in Indore, but he died on the way. As soon as the information was received in the case, the police have registered a case and taken up the matter and now a strict investigation is on in the entire case.
