Rajnandgaon: A shocking case has come to light from Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh. It is alleged that two daughters together killed their 45-year-old father with an axe. There has been a sensation in the area since the incident. According to police, the deceased father often assaulted both his daughters and their mother. He also used to abuse them. Because of this, both the accused girls were very upset.

The incident took place late on Tuesday night in Belargondi village of Ambagarh police station area of Rajnandgaon. Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the deceased Sahadev was an alcoholic. He used to beat up his wife and daughters after drunk. Her daughters are 14 and 16 years old. Both the girls are minors. The police officer said 'Sahadeva reached home on Tuesday night too and started beating up his wife. When the daughters tried to save their mother, the father ran after to kill the daughters. The two daughters then snatched the axe from the father's hand and started stabbing him. The two daughters hit their father with an axe until he lost his life.

Police rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and started investigating the case. The body was then sent for postmortem. Police have taken both the accused girls into custody. A case of murder has been registered against them.
