Rajasthan:  Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Monday said that the progress of India will only be possible when women of the country progress.

After the Himachal Pradesh Assembly victory reenergized the party, Priyanka is taking part in the rally alongside her husband Robert Vadra, daughter Miraya, and a host of other prominent figures.

"Only with the progress of women is the progress of the nation conceivable. Priyanka tweeted in Hindi about today's #BharatJodoYatra, which has the goal and message of "women empowerment."

Before arriving at Bundi, the yatra covered through the districts of Jhalawar and Kota. It will then continue on to Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, and Alwar. The yatra will go through Rajasthan, the lone state under Congress rule, for 17 days before arriving in Haryana on December 21.
Many people carrying banners and party flags were seen joining the march. The 3,570 kilometre Bharat Jodo Yatra will travel a total of 2,355 km after starting on September 7 in Kanyakumari. Next year, it will conclude in Kashmir.

Rahul Gandhi, on Sunday slammed at the Centre saying that 42 percent of youth in the country is unemployed."These unemployment figures amply demonstrate the condition of India's youth. Among young, 42 out of 100 are unemployed, breaking a 45-year record. Prime Minister, the country's youth are crying and have blisters on their feet today, but they won't give up until they are given the opportunity to work and assimilate into India, the Congressman wrote.

The Congress asserted earlier in a statement that it is the longest march on foot by any Indian politician in India's history.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra has so far covered through portions of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and parts of the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. It has recently entered Rajasthan.
