New Delhi: In the famous Unnao rape case of Uttar Pradesh, no one is renting out their house in Delhi to the victim and her family, due to which the court has ordered the Delhi Commission for Women to provide residence to the Unnao rape victim. The court has also directed the chairperson of the Delhi Women's Commission to make arrangements for the rehabilitation of the girl from Unnao.

Supreme Court took this step to stop the increase in the number of pending cases

Delhi Women's Commission Chairperson Swati Maliwal said, 'We thank the court for giving directions to the residence and rehabilitation of the victims by the honorable court. We will put our team to arrange accommodation for Unnao rape victim and her family. According to the interest of the victim, the commission will also start working for her rehabilitation. She is a brave girl and the commission will do its best to help her.'

Let me tell you that, on Saturday, the victim's lawyer had said that he had seen some houses in Delhi to rehabilitate the victim and her family, but none of them are ready to rent their house to them. On this, the court has issued instructions to DCW to ensure education and skill development of the children of the home and family for the family of the victim in Delhi.
