JAIPUR:  Vikramaditya Singh, son of Ex-Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh, and his family will have to come before Udaipur court on January 13 in connection with a complaint filed by Vikramaditya's wife Sudarshana, who belongs to Rajsamand.

In response to a complaint made by Sudarshan Singh Chundawat, the Udaipur court summoned Vikramaditya, a Congress MLA in the Himachal region and a descendant of the Shimla royal family. In the matter of domestic violence, summonses were issued for Vikramaditya Singh, his mother Pratibha Singh, sister Aparajita, and brother-in-law Angad Singh. On Wednesday, all of the accused were due to show up before the court, but none did.

In this circumstance, the court has now mandated that he show up on January 13.

Sudarshana Singh Chundawat hails from Rajsamand in Mewar. Vikramaditya and Sudarshana were married on March 8, 2019, however, on October 17, 2022, Sudarshana filed a lawsuit against her husband and other parties as a result of ongoing physical and psychological harassment.

According to attorney Bhanvarsingh Deora, after the death of Vikramaditya's father and previous chief minister Virbhadra in July 2022, Sudarshana was eventually banished to Udaipur.

Sudarshana said that her husband Vikramaditya frequently remarked that she hadn't brought dowry according to his status. He said that he belongs to a higher family and she belongs to a lower family compared to his. Sudarshana mentions that she was subjected to mental and physical torture.
