New Delhi: The largest human trial of the Corona vaccine COVAXIN is scheduled to begin today at AIIMS, New Delhi. The registration process for human trials has also started. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has identified 12 institutes, including Delhi-based AIIMS, for the first and second phase testing of covaxin on humans.

In the first phase, the vaccine will be tested on 375 people, of which a maximum of 100 people can be included from AIIMS. Let us tell you that on Saturday, the Ethics Committee has allowed the indigenously developed vaccine of Corona virus to be tested on Kovaxin. Giving information at the Center for Community Medicine at AIIMS, Dr. Sanjay Rai said that this test will include healthy people who do not have any other disease and who have not been suffering from corona before.

Apart from this, only people between the age of 18 to maximum 55 years will be selected for the trial. He further said that some people have already registered for this test.
