New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, India recorded 6,915 new COVID-19 cases and 180 deaths. The number of active cases in India has risen to 92,472.

The recovery rate for the infection is 98.59 percent, with 16,894 people recovering. The weekly positivity rate is 1.11 percent, while the daily positivity rate is 0.77 percent. In the last 24 hours, almost 9.01 lakh tests were performed. The Nationwide Vaccination Drive has resulted in the administration of 177.70 crore vaccine doses in India.

According to  govt data, In the previous 24 hours, more than 18 lakh (18,22,513) vaccine doses have been administered, bringing India's COVID-19 immunization coverage to 177.70 crore people (1,77,70,25,914). So far, the central government has given states and union territories 177.45 crore (1,77,45,83,050) doses of COVID-19 vaccination.

The States and union territories still have more than 14.08 crore (14,08,83,686) balance and unutilized vaccination doses to distribute. The Union Government is dedicated to speeding up COVID-19 vaccination and expanding its coverage across the country.
