Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the opposition for promoting COVID-19 vaccine hesistanicey in the country, claiming that the immunization effort was effective despite numerous hurdles. While addressing a public meeting today in Maharajganj, the Prime Minister, said "Those Indians who felt proud by knowing that vaccines were made in India were incited by the Opposition not to take the doses.. By sowing uncertainties in the minds of the impoverished, the opposition attempted to increase vaccine hesitancy."
"Even the world's largest countries are far behind India in terms of vaccination coverage today, as India has provided 200 million vaccine shots to its population at no cost," he stated. The Prime Minister, in a veiled reference to the present Ukraine conflict, advised citizens to be strong at this time.
"At this time, the globe is facing numerous challenges. These scenarios can't be avoided by anyone. It has an impact on every citizen of the world in some form. In such a situation, India must remain strong, and this is the most pressing requirement of the hour "he stated
He said, "India must become great in every field, from agriculture to military, from the sea to space. As a result, Uttar Pradesh, as the country's largest state, bears a bigger share of responsibility."
