Manipur's daily COVID counts are rising ahead of the state's next Assembly elections. On Tuesday, 380 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the election-bound state of Manipur.
There are 135 more cases in the state than there were on Monday. In Manipur, the new 380 cases were detected with a shocking 14 percent positivity rate. Thankfully, no COVID-related deaths have been recorded in the state in the last 24 hours. In Manipur, the COVID-19 death toll now stands at 2015.
Imphal West registered the highest number of cases with 148, followed by Imphal East – 79, Thoubal 16, Bishnupur – 16, Kakching – 3, Kangpokpi – 24, Noney – 1, Ukhrul – 5, Tamenglong -2, Tengnoupal – 1, Senapati -2, Chandel – 2 and Churachandpur 73.
