After the meeting between Punjab Minister Om Prakash Soni and administrative officials in Punjab between the lockdown and the corona transition, all retail traders in Amritsar have been allowed to open shops from 10:30 am to 3 am from Thursday. After about 50 days, the shutters of Amritsar shops will open on Thursday. Instructions have been given that shops located on the wide streets of the city will open one day on the right side and the next day on the left side.

For your information, let us tell you that retail shops located in tight and crowded markets and streets are divided into three zones. Shops in 'A' zone one day, 'B' the next day and 'C' zone one day will open in these areas. All retail traders' association officials were warned in the meeting of administrative officials that if they violate the rules and gather crowds outside the shops then the facility will be withdrawn.

In his statement, Police Commissioner Dr. Sukhchain Singh said that shops like salons, gyms, malls, spas, beauty parlors would not be allowed to open. Do not crowd the shops. DC Shivdular Singh Dhillon said that shopkeepers should take care of social distance. Shopkeepers have to keep in mind that first life, then prosperity and later business. On this occasion, Chairman of Punjab Business Board Pyare Lala Seth, General Secretary Sameer Jain, Dharamvir Sharin, Ravi Kant and Surinder Duggal etc. were present.
