Syed Moiz told the media that the holy month of Ramadan has started and people will fast till the last day of this holy month. All religious scholars and government officials are requesting people to celebrate Ramadan at home keeping in mind the spread of coronavirus. Today, we have fasted and this is the first time that we have celebrated the first day of this Ramadan at our house.

In his statement, Moiz further said that we along with my family performed Namaz and Turabi prayers at home. We are a little disappointed that we could not offer namaz in the mosque, but on the one hand, we are also happy that we are offering namaz with family members. This step of the government is for the benefit of the people. Therefore, people should celebrate Ramadan by staying in their homes, till the lockdown is over.
