New Delhi: According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, more than 73 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered, previous 24 hours, bringing India's total immunisation coverage to 159.67 crore.
Precisely, 73,38,592 vaccination doses were administered to eligible people, according to government data. As a result, as of 7 a.m. today, the total number of vaccines delivered was 1,59,67,55,879, according to provisional reports. According to the ministry, this was accomplished through 1,71,82,273 sessions.
As per government data, 61,75,049 precaution doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given out. Healthcare professionals received 22,95,385 doses, frontline workers received 20,16,534 doses, and individuals over 60 with coomorbidities received 18,63,130 doses. So far, 3,84,93,979 vaccination doses have been administered to children aged 15 to 18. This year's vaccination campaign for this age group began on January 3rd.
