Mumbai: The number of corona infected people in India is increasing at a rapid pace. After which, in order to stop it meaningfully, the corona vaccine was also introduced in Maharashtra along with several regions of the country from Monday to adolescents between the ages of 15 and 18 years. In Nashik, Maharashtra, a 16-year-old man named Atharva Pawar was given a covishield dose by mistake by the health department while giving corona vaccines to the youth.
In fact, the entire incident of negligence on the part of health officials is from Patoda in Yeola taluka of Nashik. While administering the vaccine, a teenager named Atharva Pawar was given a dose of covishield instead of a Covaxin at the local health centre on Monday. After the incident of negligence came to light, Kishore Atharva Pawar's father Vasant Pawar was deeply enraged by this negligence. He complained to the concerned officers about the incident and demanded strict action against all the concerned careless employees responsible for this negligence.
On the other hand, the health officer of Taluka, Dr Harshal Nehate has accepted it. But he is currently silent on what action is going to be taken against the concerned employee. He has talked about conducting tests and asked for restraint till the test is over. After the complaint of the same parents, Block Health Officer Dr Harshal Nehate visits Patoda Health Centre. Talking to the media, Dr Nehate confessed it was a mistake. Talking about the vaccine being given to the teenager, he further said that the vaccine on the teenager did not adversely affect the teenager and his condition was good.
