New Delhi: China is being accused of giving the world a corona epidemic, violating human rights, and adopting an expansionist policy against other countries, including India, and China has been constantly criticized for its aggression on the Indian border. But in the meantime, several other Left leaders, including Sitaram Yechury of CPIM and D Raja of CPI, are arriving at anniversary events to mark 100 years of the establishment of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC).

It may be recalled that on Wednesday (July 28, 2021), the Chinese Embassy organized the centenary celebrations of the establishment of the Communist Party of China CPC. The event was attended by CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, CPI KD Raja, Tamil Nadu ruling DMK MP S Senthilkumar and All India Forward Bloc Central Committee Secretary G Devarajan. China was led by Counselor Du Xiaolin of the International Department of CPC.

However, the question of Indian leaders joining the event is that when citizens across the country are angry with China, some leaders are happily participating in the establishment ceremony of the Chinese CPC, which India is opposed to. On the contrary, however, Indian Left leaders have always been glorifying China. Earlier, the Left Publishing Group 'The Hindu' had given full-page ED paid by China on the centenary celebrations of the CPC on 1st July 2021.
