The case is that 3 women have lost their lives as a mud mound collapsed in Narayanpur block of Jamtara in Jharkhand, while many women are estimated to be trapped.

The incident took place on Monday when the women went to the mound to dig the white soil and in the meantime suddenly the mound collapsed in which 3 women lost their lives. 3 to 5 women are still feared trapped in the mound. The rescue team is looking for them. It has been revealed that the deputy commissioner of Jamtara, Faiz Ak Ahmad Mumtaz said that some women from villages near Mirgahill in Devalbari panchayat of Narayanpur block of the district had gone there to dig the soil for putai at home. In the meantime, suddenly the mud mound collapsed, inside which 6 to 8 women were buried.

According to the information received, the Deputy Commissioner said that as soon as the information was received, the administration carried out a mound excavation by sending JCB machines on the spot, out of which 3 women were evacuated soon. He was taken to the nearby Jamtara Sadar Hospital, where doctors told them to be dead.
