Urvashi Rautela remains in the news after her interview went viral as it gave birth to controversy with Cricketer Rishabh Pant. After her interview, almost all posts and activities were linked with Rishabh Pant and the actress also got brutally trolled for various reasons. The actress finally reacts to the whole controversy.

Urvashi Rautela clarified that RP stands for her co-star Ram Pothineni. She said, "I was not even aware that Rishabh Pant is also known as RP. People just assume stuff and write about it. And to those believing in such rumours, I’d say they need to analyse a little. If you haven’t seen anything, or just because some Youtuber or for that matter anyone is saying something, how can you simply believe it?"

The actress further said,  “We always see comparisons being made that cricketers have way more respect than actors, or that they earn more than actors, and that bothers me a lot. I do understand that they play for the country, and are loved and respected largely, but actors as well have done so much. They’ve also represented the country. I myself have done that so many times. But I don’t like these silly comparisons.”  Urvashi Rautela further spoke about the viral video in which the crowd is teasing her with RP name. She also called those out who behave like 'gali-mohalle ke log.'

This whole controversy started when Urvashi Rautela in an interview said, “Mr RP came to the hotel lobby and wanted to meet. Ten hours passed and I fell asleep. I couldn’t attend any calls and when I woke up I saw 16-17 missed calls and I felt so bad that someone was waiting for me and I couldn’t meet them. I told him we’ll meet when you come to Mumbai. We met in Mumbai but a huge drama happened with the paps and all.” Her this interview started a social media battle.
