According to the report, this incident took place on Saturday (May 20) in Patna's police station area of ​​Journalist Nagar. Senior Superintendent of Police of Patna, IPS Rajeev Mishra, giving information about this case, said that on Saturday, the police team was searching for suspicious people and vehicles near the Kali temple. During this time, 2 people riding a bike shot the soldier and escaped. Police say that both the criminals had pistols. It is suspected that both of them had come to carry out some big incident. He informed that further investigation is going on in the case.

According to the report, the name of the injured soldier is Ram Avtar. At the time of the incident, Constable Ram Avtar along with other policemen were also deployed during the search. Meanwhile, 2 suspects were seen coming from a Bajaj Pulsar bike. Police stopped both and started checking. Seeing their actions as suspicious, the police wanted to arrest them. In this attempt, Ram Avtar also caught a suspect. Seeing his friend caught, the other miscreant took out a pistol and opened fire on soldier Ram Avtar. Ram Avtar fell on the spot due to the bullet and during this time, taking advantage of the opportunity, both the miscreants escaped on foot.

According to reports, the miscreants also opened fire in the air while escaping. His Pulsar bike has been seized by the police. The rest of the policemen rushed their injured friend Ramavtar to the local hospital where his condition is said to be out of danger. The bullet hit the knee of the soldier, who is undergoing treatment. At the same time, on the basis of the seized vehicle and the CCTV footage taken nearby, the police team is searching for the miscreants who carried out the incident. The number plate on the motorcycle of the miscreants is also being said to be fake.
