Ahmedabad: The mastermind of the multi-crore GST scam, who made 21 fake rental agreements on the fake Aadhaar card of a builder in Dabholi area of ​​Surat, Gujarat, was preparing to flee to Dubai. But, before that the Surat police nabbed him from the Mumbai airport.

According to media reports, Eco Cell had filed a case in the GST scam after builder Babubhai Kanjibhai Patel, a resident of Silver Stone Villa in Dabholi area, registered in GST on the basis of fake rent agreement of Mangalam Apartment shop in Nanpura. In this case, the police had arrested Paresh Jayantilal Patel, Nilesh Indravadan Modi and Abdul Rehman Mustafa Ahmed a month ago.

As per reports, the wanted mastermind Adil Hasanbhai Bajuber was preparing to flee to Dubai. However, its information was received by the police. After this, the police also issued a lookout circular against the main accused in the GST scam, Adil Hasanbhai. After this circular, the Mumbai Airport Authority stopped Adil at the Mumbai airport itself and informed the Surat police. After this Surat police reached the spot and arrested him.
