The Kerala Story will be screened for students at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) following its box office triumph in India, the film's producers said on Saturday, May 20. The story of women who were coerced into becoming Muslims in order to be recruited by the terrorist organisation Islamic State (IS) is the focus of the Sudipto Sen-directed film. Sunshine Pictures, a company owned by Vipul Shah, produced the film.

Vipul Shah said, the team is quite eager to get to know one another in the institute. The institute, which is preparing for the future of the industry, is FTII. He added that it would be intriguing to learn how the pupils would view the film and what they would think of it.

"We can't wait to see our fellow countrymen there. This is the industry's future, which FTII is preparing for. It will be enjoyable, Shah said in a statement..

On May 5, the movie was released, and since then, it has gotten a lot of praise from some groups of people and a lot of criticism from others. Similar to how different state governments reacted differently to the film. The movie was created tax-free in many BJP-ruled states. A number of opposition party-led governments attempted to obstruct the release of the film in their respective states. West Bengal was outlawed by chief minister Mamata Banerjee. The court, however, ordered a stay of the action. The West Bengal government's order prohibiting the movie in the state was overturned by the Supreme Court on Thursday, and the court urged the Tamil Nadu government to safeguard viewers' safety rather than obstruct the film's distribution. 

Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani are among the actors who appear in the film. At the domestic box office as of right now, the film has made over Rs. 150 crore.
