NEW DELHI: In his typical Cool as Cucumber style, Mahendra Singh Dhoni sealed the big run chase deal with an immense six-fest with RCB as Chennai Super Kings beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by five wickets. Now with this terrific win CSK regained the top spot in the Indian Premier League standings on Wednesday. Dhoni-led-CSK chased down the 206-run target with two balls remaining at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Dhoni remained unbeaten on 70 off 34 balls, in which he hit seven sixes and a single four to form CSK's fifth victory from six games in the 11th season of IPL.

Dhoni added a match-winning partnership 101 off 54 balls with Ambati Rayudu (82) for the fifth wicket. And with the fourth conquer in six matches, Kohali –led hosts RCB remained at sixth in the leader board.

RCB's was an out of the ordinary innings as it saw two wicket-maiden overs and a triple-wicket death over, which also fetched the home team 14 runs. The middle overs, though, were meticulously dominated by the batsmen.

Invited to bat, RCB were off to an efficient start but lost captain Virat Kohli (18) to Shardul Thakur in the fifth over.

Protease Duo De Villiers and his compatriot de Kock cracked the visiting team's bowling attack by playing shots all around the wicket with consummate ease.
