New Delhi: In honour of India's 75th Independence Day, the Culture Ministry will begin the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign this month. An official from the Ministry of Culture stated that the time and venue would shortly be announced.
During Independence Week, which runs from August 11–17, 2022, all people will be urged to fly the tricolour at their residences as part of the campaign.
The official declared that the Indian National Flag is a source of pride for the entire country and that its citizens should treat it with the utmost respect and reverence. "The public will be motivated by the Initiative to fly the flag at home. Invoking a sense of patriotism in people's hearts is the goal of the initiative "the official said.
Our relationship with the flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal, the official said. In the 75th year of independence, bringing the flag home as a nation becomes symbolic of both our dedication to nation-building and our act of personal connection to the "tiranga."
The official went on to say, "Ministry of Culture is the Nodal Agency for the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign and Ministry will seek assistance from State Governments to mobilise all resources, housing and urban development departments, and local bodies, including municipal bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions, for furthering the goals of the campaign.
