The Navy is now on full alert in view of the threat of damage to Cyclone Jawad's arrival in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Navy relief and rescue teams have been deployed. His 13 flood relief teams (FRT) and four diver teams have also been ready for rescue operations. Navy aircraft have also been kept ready for rescue operations. Rail operations are also being affected due to Cyclone Jawad. Railways have reported that about 150 trains have been cancelled due to Cyclone Jawad. Odisha, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh are affected by the cyclone. It is scheduled to hit the coast of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha today.
