Gopalganj: A major bomb blast took place in Bathua Bazar of Gopalganj in Bihar on Wednesday. The sound of the explosion was heard far and wide. His father died in this accident. While the son is injured. The blast was so dangerous that the dead body of the deceased was blown away. It is suspected that the blast took place at the time of making crackers. The deceased was identified as Halim Mian (55). Police from 5 police stations including Phulwaria have reached the spot and the area is being cordoned off and the matter is being investigated. Half of the house where the accident took place was completely damaged. This house belonged to Halim Mian. On the other hand, the pieces of the body in the blast were seized by the police from different places. It was taken in a sack and sent for postmortem. At the same time, one of the injured persons, Aktam Alam, has been referred to Gorakhpur.

Informing about the incident, SP Anand Kumar said that the bomb blast is being investigated. FSL teams have been called from Patna and Muzaffarpur. In addition, a team of ATS has also been called to the spot. At present, the police have sealed the entire area and started the investigation.
